Bramble & Fleece: Traceable British Wool with Timeless Charm
There's something special about knitting with a yarn that has a story to tell. That's exactly what drew us to Bramble & Fleece.
Designed and spun in Yorkshire, England, Bramble & Fleece creates beautiful yarns that celebrate British wool, heritage sheep breeds, and sustainable farming. Their Sheepsoft range, which we are featuring at Monarch Knitting, unites the finest Bluefaced Leicester and Masham breeds into the most stunning yarn. This yarn is sourced, spun, dyed, and milled in less than 50 miles.
The natural shades of the Masham blended with the dye BFL create a disctinct charachter to the yarn and on to your knits.

We're especially excited to share Ann's Olga Sweater swatch, knit in Sheepsoft DK in Eskdale and Kilnsey. The bold stripes beautifully showcase the depth and character of these two shades, while highlighting the soft, versatile nature of the Sheepsoft DK base. Ann will be knitting the full sweater for our Fall Olga/Stripe Along, so stay tuned to see the project take shape. We've also put together a kit for the Olga Sweater to make it easy to get started.
