Let's Finish Some Projects Together!
Dear Friends,
I have a quiet few weeks ahead of me, and I couldn't be more thrilled. I will be focusing on several home projects and finalizing plans for our Advent calendars, retreat, and next year's curated seasons. One of my favorite parts of my job is organizing special events and creating unique boxes and treats for all of you.
The presale for the Advent calendar is sold out, but if you’re interested in one of the few extras I’m making, please email us. I’ll contact you in the order requests are received in September. Also, if you’d like information about next year’s curated box, just let us know! We will send out information mid-October.
I’ve finished my Phoebe Scarf and have linked my Ravelry project page! I knit the entire scarf on my flights to and from Pittsburgh and completed the crochet border last Friday. It was such a quick project that I might make another one in camel with a black border. It’s definitely a great gift for someone special. We’ve extended the availability of our Phoebe kits for another week in case anyone wants to grab one.
I absolutely love the sweater featured in this week’s newsletter! I’m a big fan of Isabel Kraemer, and her El Tatio is exactly the kind of sweater I enjoy: a comfy cardigan in sport weight yarn with a fabulous stitch pattern. And the yarn? It’s mYak Tibetan Cloud! We have kits available in both their new mélange and standard colors. I plan to grab some yarn for myself to keep in my stash. Yes, in my stash because…
We are going to host an August Finish Along! Let’s see how many projects we can complete as a group. Please email us the names of the project(s) you’d like to finish in August. We’ll write a blog post next week featuring all the projects on the list, and at the end of the month, let us know what you completed. We’ll follow up with another blog post highlighting the finished projects. As for my list, I have two projects to finish: the sleeves on my Dagmar Jacket and my Ease Tee. I’m determined to complete both in August! If you are local, we will have August Saturday morning Finish-Along meet-ups in the shop from 10:30 am to noon. Let’s cheer each other on, so we can wear or gift our projects that are stuck on the needles!
Knit and be happy,
Ann
Highlights

Light as air with just the right touch of lace, the Marguerite Shawl is a lovely way to showcase a special skein. We think Peninsula Yarns Merino Silk Fingering makes it even more irresistible. A great transistional accessory!

Soft Current
Effortless, elegant, and surprisingly simple to knit, this is the kind of wrap you'll reach for again and again. And our top yarn pairing? Salty Blonde Cashmere Luxe Fingering for incredible softness, drape, and a touch of everyday luxury.

Field Mittens
A quick knit, beautiful texture, and cozy tweed? Yes, please. Knit seamlessly in the round with Camilla Vad's signature textured motif, these are both beautiful and practical. We especially love them in Lamana Como Tweed, whose soft merino and subtle flecks add wonderful depth and warmth.

Berry Baby Hat
Few projects are sweeter than knitting for a new little one. The Berry Baby Hat is an adorable gift knit that comes together quickly and is sure to be treasured. Perfect in Ewe Ewe's Wooly Worsted!

El Tatio
Another stunning design from Isabell Kraemer! An Easy layer, timeless style, and the dreamiest yarn. El Tatio is the kind of cardigan you'll wear from one season straight into the next, and we love it in mYak Tibetan Cloud.
