Sad News for the Monarch Family. 🐾
Dear Friends,
It is with great sadness that I share our darling Bash lost his battle with cancer yesterday and crossed the rainbow bridge.
Bash joined our family and sweet Linus in November 2019, a surprise anniversary gift from Mr. Monarch. From the very start, he was the kindest and most gentle boy ever. His soulful eyes, which understood everything, will be among the things I miss most.
Wherever I was, Bash was always by my side—my best buddy, my joyful companion who loved to run errands and simply be with me. He adored riding in the car with his head peeking out of the window, ears flapping in the wind. He knew exactly which places offered him a biscuit or an extra pet, including Captain + Stoker and Wells Fargo.
Bash delighted in trips to his beach—Bash’s Beach—where he could romp in the sand, and long Sunday morning walks in Carmel that always ended with breakfast and delicious bacon at The Stationaery. Every moment with him brought our family complete and utter joy.
Monarch was his second home and truly one of his favorite places. Every time he came in, you all showered him with pets, love, and sometimes a tasty treat. His heart was fullest in the shop, whether greeting you all or lying by the table with one of the knitting groups. I want to thank each of you for showing Bash so much love and kindness. Your warmth meant the world to him—and to me.
He will be deeply missed, but his spirit and the joy he brought us will always be remembered.

We offer a variety of classes and knitting help, both virtual and in-store. Visit our site to learn more details about each class, to see the list of requirements, and to sign up! When signing up for a class, please note the list of supplies and, if required, the homework.
Private Lessons
$20.00 for 30 minutes
$40.00 for 1 hour
Do you have a new skill you would like to learn, or are you confused by a particular part of a pattern? Come into the shop and work one-on-one with us! Call us at 831.647.9276 to set up an appointment.
We can only offer private lessons on Wednesdays, Thursdays, or Fridays. There are no private lessons during the hours of Knitting Circle.
