Small Projects, Big Knitting Joy
Dear Friends,
As you read this, I am flying home from Pittsburgh. My Phoebe scarf is keeping me company on this journey. We had a great time visiting our family, but it was warm! I must admit, I love our cool weather on the peninsula.
I’m really enjoying knitting small projects, which is quite a change from my usual sweater knitting obsession. I recently completed the Qwist Hat as part of Melanie Berg’s Master Class, and I am nearly finished with the Phoebe Scarf, featured in last week’s newsletter. That one is truly “potato chip” knitting—Stockinette in cashmere just flies off the needles! These "quick to complete" projects keep my knitting mojo going in the summer.
If you’re looking for small projects to keep you knitting through the dog days of the season, this email is full of options. If texture is your thing, the Kleine Hazel shawl is a great-looking. option. If you are all about summer stripes, check out the Simply Stripy Bandana, or The Sports! Socks. Sweater knitters, do not fret; you could even quickly whip up a Bea Top using two strands of our new Tynn Line held together.
