What's on your fall knitting list?

I recently blogged about my fall knitting list in which I featured potential projects I plan to knit this season and we asked for you to share. Wow, you delivered!  There are some tempting projects that I may add to my list...

Tina shares a neat design... "Mette from Petite Knit is super active on Instagram. The Esther Design is inspired by the Isager Archives, from the 70s.
Helga Isager invites designers from Denmark every summer for a knitcation, where they have the chance to dive into the Isager Archives to design new patterns based on Ase Lund Jensen’s designs from the seventies. I love this honoring and evolving of the tradition so much!"

Gwen, you really do need two cardigans! I'm knitting my Field Cardigan in Kelbourne Woolens Scout "I am crazy about the Field Cardigan too and have been swatching with my stash. No luck. I will be interested in what yarn you decide on, Ann. It is such a unique design. I also love the Esther Jacket. I don’t have many cardigans so really do need two!"

So great you're getting back to your sweater, Sue! I’m still working on Home Base sweater, having taken a couple of weeks off to knit some baby things for friends. Also took a while to get started in earnest as I had to frog the first two attempts! It’s looking pretty good now, about 3/4 finished. I keep reminding myself that mistakes are a sign that it’s hand knit and are to be admired!

Joni has some fun knitting planned... "Up first for fall is the Elizabeth Smith Soundtrack Cowl KAL. I’m super excited. Love so many of her designs. Then I’m continuing my love of knitting brightly colored cotton kitchen washcloths & counter wipes. I use the same pattern but use different sized needles to create small and large sizes. Don’t want to wipe the counter with the wash cloth and visa versa."

On my fall knitting list:

- Finishing my brioche “Ballerina” cape
- Starting the Morning Rituals sweater in Woolfolk Flette
- Making my Mom “Peach basket” slippers
Somewhere in there I was planning to join the Fair Isle knit along, perhaps making the Dissent sweater mimicking the RBG lace collar."

These sweater options sound amazing, Kelly! Tough decisions, but I do love the Baguette Sweater...it's such a fun name and looks supremely cozy.

"This is a a great list! We recently moved to Montana, so winter will be coming my way! I’m hoping to start a couple of sweaters: Baguette Sweater by Soumine KIM which is a bulky weight that should be extra cozy…I’m thinking it needs to be in Woolfolk’s Fleck Bulky yarn. And I am torn between the Harvest Slipover by Rhonda Yerxa (more of a vest than a sweater!) and the Whipped Leaf Sweater Type F by Etsuko Yamaguchi. Help me decide!!!"

It's always so fun to share inspiration, so thank you for contributing!  What do you think?  Shall we pick this back up again in the new year or spring season?
