Today is the day to cast on the Fireworks KAL!  A couple years ago I participated in Marie Green's first 4-day KAL and actually did knit a sweater, Beekeeper Cardigan, in 4 days! When I saw Britt-Marie’s new sweater design during a Shibui event on zoom, I knew it would be a part of my wardrobe!  Cara is a relaxed fit sweater knit in Shibui Twig.  The combination of linen, recycled silk and merino make for a lovely fabric. It has amazing drape while still remaining crisp.  Cara has big bold stripes that look great in either neutral colors, like my Suit and Bone version, or in bright colors like Lotus and White. One request we often hear is the sharing of more recently finished projects, or more widely known as HOTN - Hot Off The Needles!  We thought this would be a great space to share more finished projects from me and the team! I just finished Ankestrick's Big Love and I am in big love! I wore it while working in the shop on Monday and it was just so comfortable.  I knit the sweater in Biches et Buches Le Gros Lambswool and I am so impressed.
