This crochet class is perfect for knitters who want to dip their toes into the world of crochet. We’ll use our versatile floral granny square — a little more pizazz than the traditional version — and explore how it can be transformed into a variety of projects: a shawl, blanket, vest, or even a charming window valance. 

You’ll learn:

• How to construct our floral granny square 
• Methods for joining squares together 
• Techniques for adding beautiful borders 

skill level: If you know the basics — single, double, and triple crochet, plus chain stitch — you’re ready to join in and create something truly unique.

supplies:

• 4 colors of worsted weight yarn
•  crochet hooks (5.5mm/I-9, 6.0mm/J-10, and 6.5mm/K-10 ½)
• scissors
• tapestry needle
