Mowbry

In the last few newsletters, I have mentioned that I have been working on a throw using a fabulous new yarn from Berroco, and here it is—Mowbry. I have knit a number of blankets, and hands down, this is my favorite. The stitch pattern and yarn combination create such a handsome piece. Knit in Hearthside, a combination of alpaca, cotton, and wool, the fabric is light, soft, and will resist pilling. The other great thing about this project is that it is not endless. I used a US 10.5 needle and committed to knitting 3 inches daily, and the project was easily completed. I will definitely knit another one of these beautiful blankets!

measurements: approximately 38½" / 98 cm x 54" / 137 cm (not including fringe)

recommended needles: US 10½ (6.5 mm) 40-47” circular needle
notions: tapestry needle, scissors and K crochet hook if adding fringe.
