Holiday Sweater Along - October 19th to November 30th

November 30th, drop by Shop Small Saturday to show off your sweater or share it online!  

I am in the mood to knit a Christmas Sweater this year, so of course, I thought, why do it alone when I could gather some of you to join me in a Holiday Sweater KAL? No matter what you celebrate, there is a sweater out there for you. I am going to cast on either Isabell Kraemer’s Jingle or Yule Do. Perhaps you want to knit a fancier sweater for a holiday party.  Whatever you fancy, let us encourage you to cast on a holiday garment. 

Select a sweater to knit or crochet, purchase the yarn from Monarch Knitting, and we will gift you the pattern (as long as the designer allows purchase by an LYS! On October 19th, we will all cast on together. For those a bit further away, you can join us virtually on our Ravelry Holiday Sweater Along thread (a new addition!) and Instagram. (#MKHolidaysweateralong) Here, you can share photos, ask questions, and update us on your sweater's progress. We will also hold a Saturday Morning Holiday Sweater Along group from 10:30 am to noon.
