Oh, those Noro colors! Named for the “morning star,” Akeboshi captures the beauty of the early morning sky, with rich, earthy shades punctuated by unexpected pops of color. Each ball is a wonderful mix of shifting tones and textures, creating a fabric full of depth and character.
A luxurious blend of 85% wool and 15% silk gives Akeboshi warmth and softness, with just a touch of beautiful sheen. The colors do much of the work for you, making even the simplest stitches something special. We think it would be fabulous for cozy sweaters, cardigans, scarves, and accessories that let the yarn shine.
With a generous 295 yards per ball, Akeboshi is a lovely invitation to cast on and see where the colors take you!
