pattern sizes:

• Baby (Youth, Adult Small, Adult Large)
• Height (measured flat): 7 (7.5, 8, 8.75)”/18 (18.75, 20.5, 22) cm
• Brim circumference: 14.5 (15.75, 18, 20.25)”/37 (40, 45, 51.5) cm
• For the Baby size (3-6 months), the brim circumference should measure 1-2”/2.5-5 cm smaller than the baby’s head circumference.
• For all other sizes, the brim circumference should measure 2-3”/5-7.5 cm smaller than the wearer’s head circumference.

recommended needles: US 4 (3.5 mm) 16-inch circular needles and US 6 (4.0 mm) 16-inch circular needles and double-pointed needles
notions: stitch markers, crochet hook and smooth yarn for provisional cast-on, cable needle (optional), tapestry needle, scissors, and pom pom.
