Cables 101: Traveling Cable Hat Workshop - September 6th and 13th

Have you always loved the look of cable knitting but been intimidated by the technique? These two classes are perfect for you! We will break down the cable knitting process into simple and easy steps. In the first class, we will focus on reading patterns and charts and how to complete a left and right cable.  Class two will break down the crown decreases and give time to ask your cable questions. The Traveling Cable Hat is covered in cables, giving you plenty of opportunities to practice your newly acquired skills. Join on a couple of quiet Saturday afternoons and learn to cable...who knows, a cable knit sweater may not be far behind!

Skills: You must be an advanced beginner and know how to knit in the round on a circular needle.
Supplies: two skeins of Woolfolk Far, US 5 and US 6 16-inch circular needles, US 6 double pointed needles, and a cable needle. 
Homework: Before taking the class, we ask that you come into the store to purchase the kit, cast on, and knit the pattern to the first row of cables.
