Join us for four memorable days of knitting, learning, and relaxation on the beautiful Monterey Peninsula.

Featuring special guest instructor Kate Atherley, Monarch by the Sea is an intimate retreat created for knitters who would enjoy a few days away to focus on their craft, learn something new, and share the experience with fellow makers.

Our home for the retreat will be the lovely Hotel Mirador, just a short walk from the ocean and our shop. We'll have workshops with Kate, delicious meals, plenty of knitting, and time to enjoy the charm of Pacific Grove.

During the retreat, guests will enjoy:

• In-depth workshops with Kate Atherley, including her Math for Knitters book
• Three nights’ accommodations at Hotel Mirador
• All meals are included, featuring breakfasts and a closing dinner at the Caledonian, along with lunch and dinner at some of our favorite local restaurants. Dinners will include wine.
• A private shopping event at Monarch Knitting
• Beautifully curated gifts and special surprises
• Plenty of time to knit, relax, and explore the coast
