Dear Friends,
Drum roll, please…introducing Benedict! On our way home from New York, we picked up our new best boy in Albuquerque. Benny is just 9 weeks old today and doing a great job learning the ropes of our household. My tender-hearted Bash is still a little afraid of our new land shark (those puppy teeth are sharp), but he is so sweet and patient with him. We will share photos of Bash and Benny on our Monarch website, but if you want to see more, check out our basherandbenny Instagram.
The puppy will be with me quite a bit, but in my arms until he has his puppy shots. We are starting some training right away so Benny grows up to be a kind young man. I love going to puppy classes! When you see us at the shop, make sure to give Bash tons of love, too. He is the best big brother.
Our trip to New York was wonderful. The Remodeled Frick lived up to my expectations, and I could have spent hours wandering the rooms. There is so much to take in. On Thursday evening, Mr. Monarch surprised me with some tickets to see the US Open. What a fun event that is! The village at Flushing Meadows is packed full of people, shopping, and restaurant venues. Sitting to watch a couple of matches in Ashe Stadium was so exciting for me
I am on the body of my Coomo Cardigan, but with puppy and Bash duty, I do not know how much knitting I am going to get done! I have shared a couple of photos on Ravelry if you’d like to follow my progress.
Knit, and be happy,
Ann

A lovely project to welcome the cooler months in style.
Charadrii
Tweet! Tweet! This charming colorwork hat is full of whimsy, featuring sweet little shorebirds flitting across the fabric. We’re knitting the two-color version of this written and charted pattern with Sandnes Garn Sunday, a soft, lightweight wool that’s beautifully smooth and ideal for crisp, clean colorwork.
P.S. Among birders, the coastline in Pacific Grove is known as a wonderful spot to see many of these feathered friends, especially in late summer and early fall.
Wild Bees Socks
A sweet tribute to the buzzing pollinators that keep our world blooming, these socks are as joyful to knit as they are to wear. A bee-inspired lace panel dances down the leg and foot, paired with a classic 1x1 ribbed cuff, eye of partridge heel, and round toe.
We’ve put together kits featuring Plucky Knitter Primo Fingering, a beautifully soft and bouncy yarn that brings lovely definition to each delicate detail. A fun, nature-inspired knit that will have your needles buzzing!
Everyday Loop Blouse
Timeless, wearable, and effortlessly elegant! The Everyday Loop Blouse is a simple raglan design elevated by delicate ribbed details and thoughtful shaping. With a classic fit, round neckline, and subtly flared sleeves, it’s destined to become a wardrobe staple.
We’re knitting ours with Isager Merilin held together with Isager Alpaca 1 to create a dreamy fabric that’s light, soft, and full of texture. A beautiful blend of simplicity and sophistication. Perfect for everyday wear.
