Dear Friends,
I hope your October is off to a lovely start! It’s been a quiet, cozy week here, filled with time spent with friends, family, and a few peaceful moments of knitting. With Mr. Monarch out of town for a few days, I’ve been keeping busy with work and a bit of yarny fun. The Monarch Advent Calendar is officially underway, and I’m so excited to see it coming together over the next couple of weeks. It’s truly been a labor of love!
I’m not rushing through projects these days, just taking things at an easy pace. Between work and keeping up with little Benny, my needles are moving a bit slower, but I know life will find its usual rhythm soon enough. For now, I’m embracing this gentle bit of chaos.
When I do sit down to knit, my COOMO Cardigan has been calling my name. After all that stockinette from The Classic, its Fisherman’s Rib texture feels like a refreshing change. I always keep both a simple and a challenging project on my needles - that way, whatever my mood (or Benny’s energy level!) there’s always something just right to stitch.
Whatever you’re knitting this season, I hope it brings you relaxation and joy.
Knit, and be happy,
Ann
